Our Story

Hidden Gem of Roxboro

A place where serenity meets exhilaration.

Established in 2013, Tunnel Creek Vineyards is the place for making memories of a lifetime. This hidden gem in Roxboro, North Carolina, is filled with gorgeous views — the serene vineyard the Hollers always dreamt of building. Conveniently located near Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, and Chapel Hill, it remains one of the most pristine wineries in the state.

Larry and Sharon Holler believe nothing pairs better with family and friends than locally grown wine. As a child, Larry's father made his own wine and brought him along on trips to Napa Valley, California — instilling an early appreciation for the craft and the community that surrounds it. That appreciation, shared between the Hollers, became the philosophy behind this family-owned vineyard.

Tunnel Creek is named for the historic bridge and tunnel on the property — landmarks that have welcomed generations of families long before the first vines were planted. Today the vineyard continues that tradition, prioritizing community above all and hosting weddings, milestone celebrations, and quiet afternoon tastings on equal terms.

Larry & Sharon Holler

Larry and Sharon planted the first vines at Tunnel Creek in 2013 with a simple belief: nothing matters more than family, friends, and a good bottle of wine. Today they still greet guests at the door of the tasting room — the same arched castle doors pictured here.
